V Day Styles for Little Girls

Y'all know I love Valentine's Day...I rounded up some of my favorite picks for little girls, and this year I didn't limit it to pajamas. So much cute stuff, and I think most of it would work year-round!

How cute is this winter hat?

///

Dying over these shoes. Lily has a Daddy/daughter Valentine's Day dance at church, and these would be so fun to wear on that special night.

///

My favorite place to buy jammies for the kids. They're pricier than most, but the quality is top-notch.

///

The sweetest mittens I ever did see.

///

I'm always a big fan of non-traditional holiday colors. So I'm loving the blue hearts here.

///

A cute little sweatshirt for school.

///

This tunic would be darling paired with black leggings and boots.

///

This top could easily transition from Valentine's Day to spring.

///

Loving the simple grey leggings with a sparkly heart on each knee!

///

Like her mama, Lily is really into graphic tees and sweatshirts. Love the little knot on this one.

///

Another pair of sweet leggings. We'd probably pair them with a black tee.

///

If your little one prefers nightgowns, these come as a set.

///

The ruffles on this sweater are adorable.

///

Such a cute dress...loving the ice cream pockets.

///

A sweet pair of pajamas for your little girl.

///

Every little girl needs a heart purse, am I right? :)

///

It's not Valentine's Day without conversation hearts!

///

So, let me know...do y'all get as into Valentine's Day as I do? I know it's a cheesy holiday, but I like every chance to celebrate love...and yes, that was super cheesy. :)

Loving Lately

*Affiliate links are used in this post. Thank you for your support.*

It may be snowing outside, but I'm dreaming of spring and warmer temps. You too? It's obviously too early for shorts and T-shirts, but I love that many of the clothes out right now are winter-wearable but in spring colors. And there's always layering, right? Wear a spring-ish tee with jeans and a cozy cardigan for now. Wear that same tee with jean shorts and flip flops when spring finally arrives!

///

I don't need another sweater, but if I did I'd snatch this beauty up. The colors are too pretty.

///

Such a cute basic tee, but the side tie takes it up a notch. This is one of my favorite brands from Nordstrom. Always affordable.

///

I'm smitten with these sneaks. I can never have enough purple.

///

So, these shirts take me back to junior high, but I'm still in love. They're preppy and classic and just perfect for spring-time.

///

Such a pretty and dainty bracelet combo. I'm always drawn to stars.

///

Love, love the colors in this tee. A great basic. Comes in lots of other colors as well.

///

The light wash is perfect for spring. I really want this pair. Can't beat the price.

///

I've been all about athleisure wear lately. I have several pairs of lounge pants that are perfect for winter but may be too stuffy for spring. I love the color of this pair, and the weight seems just about perfect.

///

I mean, you can't get much cuter than avocado earrings. Right?

///

Looks so cozy, and the blush shade is perfect to transition from winter to spring.

///

Give me all the graphic sweatshirts and tees. Who doesn't love SaturYAY?!

///

So many heart eyes for this cute sweatshirt. The ties on the side are adorable.

///

Not much more I love in the spring than a classic striped shirt. The colors in this one are so fun.

///

So what about y'all? Are you ready for spring or are you holding on to winter for a few more months? I definitely have season ADD and quickly dart from one to the next!

Christmas 2017: A Recap

We had a really happy Christmas, and I hope all reading did as well.

The girls finished up school the week of December 13, so we had a lot of time prior to Christmas to savor the season.

I've always been so good about sending out Christmas cards but flaked this year. We didn't get as many as we normally do, so I'm wondering if many were in the same boat as me. Anyway, here's our virtual Christmas greeting!

We took the girls to see Santa in early December and got some cute pictures. Lily cracked me up bringing her Toys R Us catalog along. She was a girl on a mission and even had Post-it notes ranking her top picks.

We took a trip to Starkville to visit my grandparents a few days before Christmas. Most of my aunts and uncles were there, and it was SO good to be reunited with them.

The girls with Nana (my grandmother).

Some of our family together.

The day after our trip to Starkville we gathered at my parents' house to exchange gifts and to be together. My sisters were BOTH in town, and it's always a treat for the three of us to be under one roof.

Below are pictures of Pop (my Dad) with his girls. He'd found out a few days prior that he'd had a clear CT scan...the BEST Christmas gift imaginable.

Christmas Eve morning we went to church as a family, and it was such a special service. I thought the girls looked so pretty in their Christmas best!

After church they were allowed to open their presents from one another. So much fun!

Later that night we sprinkled reindeer food on the front lawn so Santa couldn't miss our house!

Christmas morning arrived, and Santa even took some pictures of the girls' gifts before they woke up!

Below are a few things the girls were given to share.

A few of Lily's things.

And Hadley's.

  Now they're up and ready to see what Santa brought!

He was here! The cookies and milk are gone.

Headbands in her stocking.

Hadley had been wanting the Kendall Wellie Wisher doll.

"My very own computer?!?!"

Lily got the Wellie Wisher, Ashlyn.

Checking out her stocking loot.

"Santa knows I like dinosaurs!!"

So proud of her dinosaur eggs.

Hugs. Christmas brings out the best in us all.

She wasn't as interested in the Fingerling as I thought she'd have been. Go figure!

Christmas morning is always kind of hectic (in a good way), so I wanted to keep breakfast simple this year. I found a recipe for a Crockpot Breakfast Casserole, and it was friggin' awesome. So easy...I can't imagine I'll make it any other way going forward!

The day after Christmas we left for Rob's hometown to see his family, and we spent two nights there. I didn't take many pictures, but I did take this one of Had in her new sweater. We had a great time there as well!

And that's a wrap (literally and figuratively, right?) on Christmas 2017. It was a sweet season, and I'm always sad to see it go. And at the same time I'm happy for a fresh start and a new year!

Later this week I'm planning on taking a look back at 2017 and a look forward to the new year. Hope you'll come back. :)
