Valentine's Day Pajamas for Girls

I'm a holiday person. And I'm one of the few people on the planet, probably, who really does LOVE Valentine's Day. Pink and red everywhere and a reason to tell everyone (even more) that you love them? I'm in!

You know what else I love? Holiday pajamas. I rounded up some of my favorite Valentine's Day pajamas for girls, and I'd really like one of each for my babes. We don't do big Valentine's Day happies here, but I think a pair of pajamas would be the sweetest gift.

My favorites are below. Enjoy!

///

This pair screams Hadley. She loves a good monster, but the set is still sweet.

///

These are precious, and the price is right!

///

I actually picked these up for my girls because they were on mega sale at GAP. They are absolutely darling on and in person.

///

For those who prefer nightgowns, I thought this one was sweet.

///

Hanna Andersson makes some of the best jammies. These are pricey, but the quality is top-notch.

///

I love the hearts on the knees. Such a cute touch.

///

Two pairs in one bundle. I love them both! These patterns also come in nightgown form if your little is more of a nightgown person.

///

Love the little birdie and umbrella on this pair. And I think white always looks so sweet on little ones.

///

What a fun pair! These remind me of the conversation heart candies (which I, by the way) hoard this time of year.

///

This would make an especially sweet gift on Valentine's Day morning. A pair for your little girl and a pair for her doll! Lily has another set from this same brand, and the quality is great...plus they fit an American Girl doll perfectly.

///

Does anyone else get into holiday-themed jammies as much as I do? Which pair is your favorite?

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! We plan on it. I'm working tomorrow and am looking forward to spending all day Sunday with my family. Love to all of you!

Cooking Made Easy With HelloFresh

**This post was sponsored by HelloFresh. I've very picky about sponsored content, so anything I share is something I truly love. All opinions are my own and were not edited by the sponsor.**

Y'all know I love to cook, but I'll admit I've been in a cooking rut lately. I don't know if I'm still in a post-holiday coma, but coming up with new ideas and going to the grocery to pick up those items has almost been too much.

I can't begin to tell you how excited I was when I found out about HelloFresh. Fresh ingredients and recipes delivered to my doorstep? Sign me up. STAT.

Not only is HelloFresh convenient for those who have too much on their plate (hello, everyone), but it's also a fabulous idea for those who enjoy cooking but are running low on creative juices. That was probably my favorite thing about discovering HelloFresh. The recipes that were delivered to my front door sparked new ideas for me and inspired me to try some different cooking techniques and flavor combinations. The recipes were so simple, and they could easily be built on or changed up a little bit to your individual liking.

HelloFresh offers three plans to choose among, and I chose the Family Plan to try out. I liked the idea of recipes that our girls would be willing to test as well. The Classic Plan and Veggie Plan are also available, so I love that there are options that appeal to all.

Once you choose a plan, you determine how many people you are cooking for as well as how many meals you'd like to receive each week. It's easy to pause or modify your subscription at any time, and I like that. The folks at HelloFresh select the meals that are delivered to you based on your preferences, but you also have the option to select meals from the weekly menu.

Each HelloFresh box contains fresh, top-quality ingredients from independent producers. Another perk? You don't have to be home to receive a shipment. The boxes are layered with wool and ice packs to keep the ingredients (meat included) fresh until you are able to bring them inside.

Recipe cards are included in each box with easy-to-follow instructions. Prep time and total cooking time estimates are included, as is nutritional information! The instructions are broken down into steps, with pictures, and I promise this is something that someone who doesn't cook often could easily master.

Now, the good stuff. Our meals! Since we chose the Family Plan, we had three meals delivered to our doorstep on a Monday. They recommended we cook the fish first so we did. It was amazingly simple, and the flavors were divine. I'll definitely be making the sauce again and think it'd be good on other fish and even chicken dishes.

The next night we tried the Beefed-Up Bolognese, and we really enjoyed it as well. The flavors were fresh, and it made a ton. We had leftovers for two nights!

Our final meal (sad!) was the Spanish One-Pan Chicken, and it might have been our favorite only because we hadn't tried anything like it before. I really liked the addition of the chorizo, and the fact that I really only dirtied up one pan, making clean-up a breeze.

So who wants to try HelloFresh now? I've got a special discount code just for y'all! To get $35 off your first box, simply enter code LINDSEYLATELY35 at checkout. That makes your first box almost, almost free! It's definitely worth it, my friends!

I'm also linking up with many other blogger friends at Simply Every's Mom Life Monday link-up. Check it out here!

 If you try it HelloFresh, please let me know. Hope everyone has a happy Monday and a great week ahead!

Loving Lately

So I know it's mid-January and half of our country is covered in snow. But I promise you, the day after Christmas I start longing for warmer temps and green on the trees outside. With that said, I had fun browsing some of my favorite shops and checking out their early, early spring arrivals. Below are a few that I'm loving lately.

///

Love, love the colors in this blouse. And how great does it look paired with white denim?

///

This dress is so simple and sleek. I'd wear it to church with tights and booties.

///

I really like the small holes in this tee. Makes it a little edgy.

///

I have a jacket similar to this one and wear it constantly in the spring and early fall. It's the perfect weight, and the color goes with everything.

Twill Field Jacket

///

I don't own a cold shoulder tee, but I really like this one because you can still wear a normal bra with it! And black is always classic.

Cold Shoulder Sweater

///

This is such a pretty, simple, statement necklace. And the price is almost too good to beat.

Chevron Pendant Necklace

///

How fun would this top be for a Valentine's Day date with your significant other? I'm cheesy and like to color coordinate with the holiday!

 Ruffle Hem Top

///

A plaid top for spring...looks so light and breezy, and the peplum hem is an added bonus.

Plaid Tab Sleeve Peplum Top

///

Red and white stripes just scream spring and summer to me. And the lace-up makes it a little more nautical and fun.

///

The ruffles take this grey sweater up a big notch and make it so cute and feminine.

///

I've really grown to like athleisure wear because it can double as something for a workout, or I think many of the tops look darling with shorts or jeans. The side tie on this tee is my favorite.

 Breathe Side-Tie Tee

///

Loving the boxy fit of this tee, the ruffled sleeves, and the pale pink color is just right too.

///

You could wear this tee now with a jacket and later into the spring without. Adore the hem.

Shark Bite Hem Exposed Hem Tee

///

More athleisure wear. If I had this I'd probably never take it off!

Mockneck Poncho

///

In case you can't tell, I like almost any addition that takes a simple shirt up a notch. Here, the tie at the front does just that.

V-Neck Knot Slub Tee

///

I'm really getting ahead of myself here, but I couldn't not share this cover-up when I came across it. Quality, pretty cover-ups are so hard to find, in my opinion. This one is more than I'd normally spend on a cover-up, but it's so darn pretty too.

 Lively Leaves Cover-Up Tunic

///

This sweater is almost too cute for words. Why does adding pom poms to something make it that much more fun?

 Ruffle Bobble Sweater

///

What do y'all think of my picks? Are you as ready for spring as I am? Anything in particular on your spring wishlist? Hope everyone has a happy weekend!

Weekend Update + Golden Globes

How was everyone's weekend? We had a low-key one and stayed in mostly due to the weather. One snow flake + sleet in Mississippi = mass hysteria. No really. Schools let out early on Friday, and the grocery stores were packed with people preparing for the worst. It always tickles me. This is what we had at our house.

///

I was so glad I'd picked up some Valentine's Day things at the Target Dollar Spot earlier in the week. I know, I know. It's early January, and most people just took down their Christmas tree. But I love a holiday and a reason to celebrate. Always have, always will! So we spent much of the weekend crafting, and that's always fun for all of us.

///

It was also perfect timing that some meals from HelloFresh were delivered. I'm collaborating with them and will share a full post later in the week. But I had the best time preparing the meals, and they were so, so tasty. We were really impressed.

 ///

And now for my thoughts on the Golden Globes. Y'all know this is one of my favorite nights of the year, right? Seriously. I have been awards-season obsessed since junior high. The gowns, the jokes, the speeches, the glamour...it all gets me.

What did everyone think of Jimmy Fallon? I really like him, but I thought he was just meh. I think I wanted someone with a little more bite...someone like Chris Rock or Ricky Gervais. But then if they were to host I'd probably say they were too harsh. #grassisalwaysgreener

Before I share my favorite gowns of the evening, I can't not mention my favorite part of the night...Meryl Streep accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award. I thought her words were so powerful and perfect for where our world is right now. I honestly think she deserves a Golden Globe for that speech. What a remarkable woman.

...

And guys, Ryan Gosling's acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Comedy made me swoon...I'm sure all the ladies reading can agree.

And now for my favorite gowns...

Mandy Moore in Naeem Khan. She wins my favorite of the night. It was just so classic and elegant but a little different at the same time. I thought she was stunning.

Coming in a close second was Lily Collins in Zuhair Murad Couture. And her skin makes me wish I'd never stepped foot in the sun.

 Emma Stone in Valentino...love the stars on her gown. Very ethereal and whimsical.

 Reese Witherspoon in Atelier Versace. I adore yellow, and she wears it so very well!

 Viola Davis in Michael Kors. Golden yellow on her beautiful, dark skin was just a stunning combination. Also love the one shoulder.

 Zoe Saldana in Gucci. This might have been a worst dressed for some, but I liked it. It was feminine and sweet, and the slick ponytail paired well with it.

 I'd love to hear your favorites! Did y'all stay up for the entire show or hit the sack early like I did? And now I have a list a mile long of movies I need to see!
